Over the past 2 years, I've seen the KHInsider forums go up and down at back again. Even back when they were called the KH2.net forums! Being with something for a long time can get to you, though. Nowhere else have I been able to come up with so many roleplays that I actually get so lost in reality along the way. I forget what reality is, I forget I'm even in reality, and I find myself in the mind of a character. But, when I finish typing, it all fades away. That feeling disappearing always makes me sad but, having that feeling so often just makes me smile. That's why KHInsider is my home away from home. There, I can become my character and save the day or watch everything fall to pieces, thanks to my desicion. That's why I write fanfictions too: to get into their head. Especially long term ones, like Pieces of Heart. PoH only exists cause of a little spark from my forum home.
But, lately, its been having some problems.
n00bs have begun to take over and everyone is leaving the place they once called home too. Even my friend, A.J, who I've known since I even went into the RP forum, says that doing this is a lost cause. But, I wanna have the feeling inside my head. I wanna become that character that I've always wanted to become. And I want to leave reality behind, for good if I can! That's why I obsess over getting to Destiny Islands: it's my "escape" and the only way I'll ever meet Sora face to face.
Yet, I'm not only doing this for myself. LoC said that people come here to take an escape from reality. If the forums die, how will that ever happen again? That feeling in your head and in your fingertips. I want that to stay for everyone and I'll do everything I can to make the forums the way they used to be.
So what if its a lost cause? So what if I get stressed? I don't care. If it means I'll rescue something I've lost, then that's the cost: some stress.
